Created with a unique approach that still traditionally aligns with Lagoon Catamarans, the 42 reveals a new, organic approach in the search of harmony between its living space and people aboard.

This unique cruising approach that can accommodate up to 12 guests is one of the finest aspects of the 42’s cruising experience. With ample space throughout the yacht and a cockpit open to the sea, onboard comfort exceeds all expectations.

Get onboard easily and safely with a single level from the aft platform to the saloon. A major structural "revolution" for this size.

Improved ergonomics throughout the vessel ensure excellent use of space. Access the lounge area by going through a large glass door that offers the interior unparalleled sunshine. 

The staircases at the transom provide a unique perspective on the boat. Comparable to our larger catamarans, the Lagoon 42 has a wide, welcoming platform. 

AN INGENIOUS LAYOUT

With a new design layout having moved the mast further aft and adding the self-tacking jib, this has guaranteed performance under sail with a new-found ease of handling. This ability to bring all operations together into one place, centralizes movement and is able to declutter the deck's layout. 

An ergonomic helming station at the coach roof bulkhead offers many advantages to your sailing experience aboard the Lagoon 42. The seamless communication between cockpit and saloon offer no chance of miscommunication. There's easier access to the boom with direct access onto the coach roof. Plus, a composite Bimini with sliding paneling to ensure a view of the sails and a closure panel for helming station safety. 

LAYOUTS

The Lagoon 42 has layout options with 3 or 4 cabins. The aft cabins come furnished with island double beds and the forward cabins have side access beds. The aft cabins benefit from an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower. Large windows in the cabins bring in exceptional natural lighting and provide guests with magnificent views.

Devoted towards attention to detail and optimizing the use of its space, the 42's interior makes for a unique and enjoyable living area. The vertical tinted coach roof provides the saloon with beautiful natural sunlight making the space a well-lit, comfortable environment perfectly balanced with its U-shaped galley. The galley is fully fitted with broad work surfaces, extensive storage space and is oriented towards the external cockpit.
