The First 14 SE introduces the world of modern racing skiffs to recreational sailors in an accessible, stable and easy-to-handle sport dinghy. She is designed to be sailed without trapeze, and you can easily adjust the sail area depending on the wind strength or crew size, without compromising sailing experience, thanks to two centerboard positions. This high-performance, fast and exciting sailing boat will directly connect you with the elements – the sea and wind. In addition, joining the One Design Class allows you to become a part of the largest recreational community of like-minded sailors. It enables you to test your skills on the racecourse and enjoy good company ashore. Freedom on the water is enhanced with unique removable wheels that will allow you to explore distant shores without the need to return to the starting point. The most hidden, wild and beautiful beaches are now as easily accessible like never before.  On land, she is light enough to be transported on a car roof, so you can take her with you anywhere. Thanks to her flat bench design, she can be easily transported when turned upside-down, and her dividable mast and equipment easily fit inside the hull, so you can still fill your trunk up with your family’s belongings.

BENETEAU FIRST 53

EXTERIOR DESIGN The First 53 is a deft execution of style and power, an ocean-racing thoroughbred aptly camouflaged behind a sleek, stylish figure. The gentle reverse sheer and low-slung coachroof make her look fast even when she is immobile. Yet, there is simply no compromise to comfort or safety in her cockpit and deck layout, both of which are free-flowing, cleverly arranged, and desperately elegant. Her performance mast, high-end deck gear, and finely tuned hull deliver unparalleled thrills in any conditions, whether enjoying a doublehanded sunset run or a fully crewed offshore race. INTERIOR DESIGN The modern, almost minimalist interior represents a true departure from the norm, offering a completely reimagined living space with a focus on practicality, comfort, and style. To starboard, a dedicated home-style couch is the ideal place for lounging and relaxation, and to port, the extendable dinner table offers up to six seats without permanently taking up room in the salon. Polished, molded woods pleasantly contrast with the lacquered white bulkheads, creating a bright feeling that is also undeniably warm. The highly customizable L-shape galley is user-friendly, both at sea and at anchor, and there is plenty of storage space throughout the boat, which is offered in both a three-cabin two-head or three-cabin three-head configuration. Well-placed hatches and windows ensure excellent ventilation and infuse the interior with an abundance of natural light. ENJOYING THE SEA CLOSE UP A First in every detail, the First 53 took two years to develop and represents the gold standard for performance luxury cruising. The attention to detail and the focus on innovation are evident in all areas of the boat.

BENETEAU FIRST 44

RACER-CRUISER ROYALTY The FIRST 44 embodies a natural link between the FIRST 36 and FIRST 53, equally refining and redefining performance, elegance and comfort – a new Biscontini/Argento creation that truly denies itself nothing. Drawing to the noblest sense of the term “racer/cruiser”, she’s a lovely sailing yacht with a remarkable design, offering through her architecture and build quality an experience underway that is simply second to none. A DUAL DESIGN With the new FIRST 44, BENETEAU draws to the noblest expression of the term “racer/cruiser”: an elegant and comfortable yacht that provides unequaled pleasure under sail. In keeping with the scientific approach honed with his work on America Cup racers, Roberto Biscontini went through several revisions and improvements to finally deliver a powerful and well-balanced hull, which is coupled with an ample sailplan to deliver spend and vivacity in any conditions. The FIRST 44 was imagined with two deck layouts to satisfy a greater variety of wishes and needs. The FIRST 44 version distinguishes itself with a convivial and comfortable cockpit, wherein wide side-decks converge towards a lovely cockpit table. Four winches, a fixed centerline block for the mainsheet and a mast that is set further aft all maximize the potential of her modern sailplan, defined by a slender mainsail and generously sized foresails. The FIRST 44 is infused with Lorenzo Argento’s style, a distinctive blend of elegance and modernity. Her three-cabin, two-head layout is an assemblage of quality materials interwoven into a masterful finish. In the salon the six-seater transversal table lays opposite of the couch and nav station; its positioning in relation to the mast eases the movement between galley and master stateroom, thereby accentuating the feeling of space. This arrangement is enhanced by superb craftsmanship, a refined combination of white lacquered surfaces, moulded woods, touches of indirect lighting and a large selection of luxurious upholsteries. Assembled in a specially dedicated workshop, the FIRST 44 takes full benefit of BENETEAU’s expertise and the knowledge of the industry’s sharpest minds. Subjected by their owners to the rigors of the offshore racing, FIRSTs are always the result of a rigorous development and perfection process. Engineering for the FIRST 44 was entrusted to the Mer Forte firm, well known for its work on high-end blue-water race boats, including the celebrated Figaro BENETEAU 3.

BENETEAU FIRST 36

DESIGNED FOR SAILORS The design team is coordinated by the experienced hand of Kristian Hajnšek, CTO of Seascape, who works closely with the team at BENETEAU to bring race-grade construction technologies into the segment of production racer-cruisers. On top of this hugely experienced team, we added an elite international group of designers; all of them are passionate sailors in their own right.  RACING LAYOUT In the racing layout, the wide and modern cockpit allows for different helm and trim positions, either for short-handed or fully-crewed sailing. In this setup, the table and bench extensions are removed, opening the working area in the cockpit. A higher than average steering wheel position leaves enough room for the helmsman to move forward towards the mainsail winch when sailing shorthanded. The cockpit winches’ positioning allows one or two crew members to sail with legs in and work the mainsail or primary winches in full crew mode. It also allows cross-sheeting of all sheets to the windward side. Harken, Ronstan, Spinlock and Antal deck gear were combined for performance. CRUISING LAYOUT When you remove your racing gear and take your family cruising or daysailing, the cockpit benches with cushions increase the seating area and add storage space and line organization. The cockpit table is big enough to accomodate a crew of six. Additionally, the design team developed an ultralight bathing platform to give sailors easy access to the water without affecting the boat’s performance. LARGEST LIVING SPACE IN ITS CLASS Going against the trend, the 36 features a full-sized navigation table. While vital to navigation, it is also a suitable home office. Two portlights in every cabin allow air flow and natural light, while sectional indirect lighting with a red racing option illuminates the boat at night. Three cabins with easily accessible full-sized double berths and innovative heads round up the features of this bright and spacious interior. The wide hull of the BENETEAU First 36 offers a spacious interior comparable to much larger predecessors. The new First 36 has about the same living volume as the legendary First 40.7. Simple, comfortable and versatile, the First 36 interior was developed around three-cabin cruising functionality. Its most notable feature is the large central fridge (with a removable cutting board), making this sailboat’s galley the largest of her class. A corridor created together with the foldable and removable table helps sailors move around the saloon safely and offers stacking possibilities.

BENETEAU FIRST 27

SAILING EXPERIENCE The main promise and differentiation of the First 27 is her performance and unique sailing experience. Again and again, she will surprise you by getting to plane with as little as 12 knots of wind. She sources her stability from a wide and flat hull on the waterline and a lead T-bulb keel. Increased bow volume, accompanied with a balanced twin-rudder steering system, keep you in complete control, whether you are sailing upwind or safely planing downwind. Easy boat handling comes from carefully thought-out boat design and cockpit ergonomics. Planing sensation and excitement will become your afternoon sailing routine on the First 27!  LIVING ABOARD  While being as fast as most race boats, she also offers a surprising level of comfort. The clean and minimalistic light-weight interior offers all essential amenities for onboard living. She is designed to sleep up to 6 adults, 2 in the bow cabin and up to 4 in a very bright and openly-spaced salon, and is also equipped with a removable table and fridge. In the midsection, you’ll find a galley with a gas burner and a sink with fresh water. Thanks to innovative, foldable magnetic doors, the midsection can be converted into a proper marine toilet with a black water tank or used as a front cabin extension. A large and open cockpit welcomes you with comfortable benches, a removable indoor/outdoor table and a swim ladder with a shower on the stern.

BENETEAU FIRST 24

FIRST 24 The First 24 is a stylish racer and a fast cruiser, an unparalleled compromise in the category of high-performance, transportable, cruising yachts. Ideal for racing with a crew of four, it can accommodate six on a coastal cruise, and eight on day trips EXTERIOR DESIGN The First 24, designed by Sam Manuard is a high-performance thoroughbred with a boldly modern hard-chine hull. Most of the standing rigging is led back to the clutches located on the companionway and two winches combined with jammers making trimming child’s play. The First 24 performs particularly well in light and medium air, progressing moderately and with ease at speeds of 15 knots. Two hatches open a large sail locker built into the bottom of the cockpit. Fenders can be stored here along with a small thermal or electric engine.   INTERIOR DESIGN Below deck, the vast open interior of the First 24 has a large forward double berth and single berths on either side of the keel box. An ingenious cushion system means you can unite the two single berths to turn them into a double berth. The table can be carried in a bag and set up inside or outside in the cockpit and can be left on shore to make the boat lighter for racing. A small galley with hob and icebox, chemical toilets and an electric pack combined with solar panels make the yacht fully autonomous.
