Our Team

Mike Green

Michael Green is one of the founding partners of Anchor. His former partner, Wim Zegers and myself spent many successful years selling Beneteau’s and developing several friendships over the years.

Mike is now heading up the company with his partner, Blanche Morgan. His bio in sailing is too much to list but includes sailing too and living in the Bahamas in 1984/1985, a transatlantic delivery on a Lagoon 380, and several deliveries to the BVIs and Florida.

A university graduate who has spent a number of years in the hospitality industry with Bell Canada, Foodex Inc, and the Hudson Bay Company in various positions including District Manager and Regional Director.

Blanche Morgan

Blanche was introduced to boating life as a child by her parents. Later when she had her own family she became an officer in the Navy League and served the NLCC Compass Rose with her two sons for four years.

Before joining Anchor, Blanche was successful at her own business and then was offered a teaching position at a private vocational school for several years.

She brought her skills to Anchor in 1996. Since then she has become a Beneteau Certified Sales Representative and has been awarded the Beneteau Top Gun Award twice. She was sent to Paris France for 10 days where she received her wall plaque in Recognition of Superior Salesmanship from Madame Roux.

Blanche cruises Georgian Bay, Bahamas, Caribbean and joined delivery crews for the Great Lakes and the New York City-Oswego run.

Tech: Zbigniew “Zibby” Burkacki aka Mr. Fix It

Zibby has been with Anchor Yacht Sales since 1992 and has been instrumental in Anchor’s gradual assent to one of the top dealers in North America. Without his hard work and dedication during the early years we would not be in the strong position that we find ourselves in.

He has done several Beneteau and Lagoon deliveries and his total amount of time on the water is 25,000 miles. He has attended training seminars in North America and Europe.

Zibby is extremely knowledgeable in the installation of Raytheon product, rigging and all around commissioning.  He previously  owned a wood working specialty shop where he manufactured custom high end furniture.

Scott Taylor

That experience developed into competitive racing aboard Lasers, FJ’s, International 14’s and Albacores. Scotty enjoyed several years aboard the family’s various 25’ to 30’ Lake Ontario sailboats.

After graduating as a Sales & Marketing Specialist he went on to various related positions in the Financial and Industrial Manufacturing fields.

With a penchant for Jazz music he also occasionally moonlights as a Jazz pianist.

A relatively recent member to the Anchor Team; Scotty brings his vast experience to the Sail and Power sector.
